February is here already. With a good amount of mild-to-warm weather, this January just flew by. Now the weather is a little colder, and we’ve got some snow in the forecasts, and it looks like winter may be ready to take off, once and for all. If you’re planning a move to Boston this February, there’s no better place to start than right here, on the Big City Moving Co. blog!
Beware Of The Weather!
One of the toughest parts about planning a move during this time of year is the (often unpredictable) New England winter weather. Despite a mostly mild January (and what Punxatawny Phil saw today), we’re not out of the woods yet. The next big blizzard could be right around the corner. We recently covered some of the best ways to plan your move during unpredictable weather in a recent blogpost. Review it, and make the necessary plans to get your move done right!
Get Your Parking Permits
This rule really applies to any month of the year. If you’re going to have to park a moving truck on the street, you’re going to need to get a parking permit. Obtaining parking permits is relatively easy, as long as you’ve got the time to get to City Hall. If you don’t, Big City Moving Co. offers permit acquisition and posting services to all of our customers.
