Celebrity Spotlight: Moving To Tom & Gisele’s New Mega-Mansion

I don’t know about you, but we’ve got Super Bowl fever over here at Big City Moving. In addition to all the hub-bub over the big game, you may have heard about Tom Brady’s brand new mansion in Los Angeles. We thought about the logistics of moving to this mansion, and wanted to share the results.

Five Or More 40′ Semi-Trailers

In order to fully furnish this massive house, including multi-level garage, on-location crop garden, in-house nursery and all–at least 5 loaded trailers (the big ones) would be required.

A Moving Team of Thirty (Or More!)

In order to keep things moving efficiently, it would be best to have a crew of six on each of the trailers. There are enough doorways and locations to move to that the five crews of six movers would barely interact with each other! Luckily for Tom, if he needed some friends to help for his move, he could always ask these guys from his Offensive Line.

Dozens of Hand Trucks, 4-Wheel Dollies, Moving Straps, Platforms, And Other Equipment

Each of the five trailers would have on board 4-5 Hand Trucks, 2 Appliance Dollies, Around 10 4-Wheel Moving Dollies, Platforms to traverse the grass/walkways, and more. You could load a standard 24′ moving truck with the amount of equipment required for this job.

1200-1500 Boxes, Crates, Bins, And Other Moving Supplies

Judging by the attention to sustainability (notice the on-site crop garden and solar panels) – we’re thinking that Tom elected to use re-usable plastic bins whenever possible. That means the move required 800 of these durable plastic bins alone – plus hundreds of boxes and crates. The builder-board floor protection (also re-usable) for this move would easily exceed a half mile, and would likely be closer to a square mile.

Hopefully, Tom’s move went smoothly and he doesn’t have anything to worry about for his big game tomorrow. Hopefully he’ll be able to bring home a fourth Vince Lombardi Trophy to join the other three! Go Pats!
